Miles Rush, MS, ATC, CSCS: Director

A certified athletic trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers' Association and a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Miles earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology with a minor in nutrition from the University of Texas in Austin. He then received his master's degree in sports management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining the National Personal Training Institute, Miles spent four years as a sports medicine communications consultant for The Gatorade Company. Prior to his experience with Gatorade, Miles worked as a certified athletic trainer/sports medicine specialist and strength and conditioning coach in professional baseball with the Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Mets, and in the collegiate setting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Miriam Aichler, MOT, OTR/L, CSCS, FMS: Director of Education

A dynamic, passionate and dedicated instructor, Miriam shares more than 25 years of experience in the health and fitness industry with her students in her role as director of education. A certified and licensed occupational therapist, a certified strength and conditioning specialist and Functional Movement Systems certified, Miriam earned her undergraduate degree in communications from Northern Illinois University, including an additional 60 sports medicine credit hours and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Cleveland State University, incorporating work at the world renowned Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Miriam, who is also Kettlebell and Silver Sneakers certified, has worked as a lead instructor for the National Personal Training Institute since 2002.

Bob Davis, MA, CSCS, NSCA-CPT: Instructor

Certified as both a personal trainer (NSCA-CPT) and a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Bob brings experience as a personal trainer, personal training manager and strength and conditioning coach into his roles as the associate director of education and lead instructor for the National Personal Training Institute of Columbus. Bob earned his undergraduate degree in physical education with a concentration in exercise physiology from Kent State University along with a graduate degree in adult education. He is TRX certified and also an American Kettlebell Alliance Level 1 Coach. A competitive weightlifter and a USA Weightlifting Certified Club Coach, Bob was a former personal training manager for Lifestyle Family Fitness.

Alyssa Reau, RD, LD, CSCS, NPTI-CPT: Instructor

A program graduate, a registered dietitian and a certified strength and conditioning specialist, Alyssa is passionate about helping people pursue their dreams and reach their goals. She earned her bachelor's degree in human nutrition and dietetics, graduating magna cum laude from the Ohio State University, completed her dietetic internship through Iowa State University and is currently working on her master’s degree in dietetics at North Dakota State University. She is also a Certified LEAP Therapist for food sensitivities. In addition to her teaching responsibilities for NPTI, Alyssa is a competitive Olympic weightlifter and she owns and operates Willow Health and Performance based in Dublin.
